This online course will provide learners with the knowledge and skills necessary to operate and maintain the auxiliary machinery attached to the main engine of a vessel.

Lubrication of the Main Engine is responsible for lubricating and cooling the internal parts, which are acting relative to each other creating friction and heat, resulting in overheating of parts. Lubrication not only provides cooling but also the removal of any debris or impurities.
